I don’t know where Pennie gets all his energy from. He was jumping all over the stage and even knocked his microphone over at one point. The Automatic were really excited about playing Reading, and played an amazing set, ending with the slightly overplayed (though we still love it) ‘Monster’. They also played their now well known cover of ‘Goldigga’, which was awesome. Having seen the Automatic twice in two weeks, they’re now a band that I’m certainly looking forward to purchasing the album of from the House of Tracks webstore.
